SCHOLARSHIPS AND STUDENT FUNDING

MSc Education Scholarship

We are delighted to announce that Moray House School of Education will be offering scholarships to UK/EU students for MSc Education in the 2017-2018 academic session.

Award

The scholarship awards £4,000 which will be paid directly towards Programme Fees.

Eligibility

The scholarships are available to UK and EU students who have been accepted onto the MSc Education programme to study full time, commencing in 2017-2018.

Applicants who have already commenced their programme of study on the closing date are not eligible for this scholarship.

Applicants intending to study part-time or online distance learning courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

Criteria

The scholarships will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Students with degrees of lower academic standing (e.g. under 2:1) but with a genuine interest and/or considerable work experience in the area of study are encouraged to apply. In cases where academic merit is equal consideration of prior experience, demonstrable interest in the area of study and references will be considered.

Eligible applicants should complete an online application.

The closing date for applications is 30th June 2017.

Please note you will not be able to access the online application form unless you have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh.

The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk

Notification

Programme directors will convene a selection committee to select the scholarship holders in July. All applicants will be notified of the outcome in August 2017.
